This depends on your taste and preference. However, overall, due to its considerable size and the diversity it brings with it, we consider Crete one of the winners. It always satisfies even the most demanding of visitors. You can also read our guide for the best Greek islands to visit in 2023.

If one takes 227 islands and spends a minimum of 3 days on each of them -which is the bare minimum they can spend- they will need 681 days to visit each of them. So, a little under two years.

It might sound terribly cliche, but there is no better Greek island for a wedding proposal than Santorini. The majestic volcanic landscape will make your engagement photos a piece of art! You can also discover the ideal Greek islands for a honeymoon.

Mykonos, Ios, and Paros compete with each other for the title, so we consider all equally great for endless parties and entertainment. No night will ever be dull if you choose one of them!
